Option One: Use "Discovery Search" to Find Popular Articles
- Enter key words in the "Discovery Search" search box:
- When results appear, apply limits by checking off these items in the left column:
- Date range
- Magazines
- These are some of the 9 results we got from limiting the search.
- Notice the titles of the magazines that published the articles.
Option Two: Search in a General Periodical Database or a Newspaper Database for Articles
- To see more articles, try a new approach: search directly in periodical databases.
- Try these databases:
- Find these databases at the A to Z list of Databases link.
- Search Example: Music Index
- This search was limited to articles published after 2010, and to those published in magazines.
- It was also limited to journals available in the Library's collection (also called "Full Text").
Option Three: Browse Issues of a Popular Music Magazine
- On the main Berry Library search page, click "Journal Title Search" and enter the title of the magazine you want to browse. Click Go:
- All of these databases carry Rolling Stone.
- I select "Proquest Central."
- I enter my key words:
- I get 5 hits:
- I click Full Text to view articles:
