Re-evaluate your search question

  • My original search question was:
    • Should libraries provide food pantries?
    • Though I think they should provide food to help with food insecurity, I am aware that some people might feel that libraries should focus on books, not social problems.
  • It's time for me to think about what I've found thus far:
    • Google provided many sites with links to libraries helping fight food insecurity - either by having food pantries or free food.
    • I could not find sites about people opposing food pantries in libraries. However, I did find sites that said we don't need libraries at all!
      • That libraries are wastes of money.
      • Redundant  in an electronic age.
      • These sites avoid talking about libraries and social issues - by ignoring them. They pretend that libraries do not do social justice work.
  • All of these thoughts will impact what my final multimodal project will look like.
