Quick Tip #2: Embedding The Stranger Kanopy Video into Canvas

Step One

• We need a page in Canvas that has the Rich Text Content Editor. 
• "Announcements" is one such place. 
• So we create a new announcement for the film "The Stranger."

Step Two

• We should be able to embed the "Embed" code for The Stranger under the cloud icon. 
• However, today, June 4, 2021, this feature is not working (at least for me).
• So, we have a Plan B:
  • We will to to the chain link icon and paste in the "Share Link" for The Stranger:
  • https://salemstate.kanopy.com/video/stranger

• This is what your page will look like:
  • Notice that with the "Share Link," you will not see the image of the film.

Step Three: SAVE

• This is a critical step. 
• If you have problems opening the video, re-check to make sure you completed this step.
