Salem State University: Faculty Publications 2019

Introduction

Salem State University Faculty Publications 2019

Table with a display of books and publicationsFor almost a quarter century, the Salem State University School of Graduate Studies and the University Library have sponsored the annual Faculty Publication Celebration to recognize all faculty and librarians who have published in the previous calendar year. Over the years, we have saluted the publication of novels, biographies, scientific articles, poems, performances, art exhibitions, histories, political analyses, philosophical discourses, empirical studies, and many more genres. Some of these pieces have resulted from work that was funded by prestigious national grants; some have received national or international awards.  In all cases, our highly-engaged faculty and librarians have produced these works while teaching, serving on campus committees, engaging with the broader community, mentoring, and advising. Each year, the publications list is testimony to their commitment to their profession.

This year, although we are unable to display these works and toast these faculty in our traditional manner, we invite you to explore this virtual publication celebration and enjoy the virtual community of scholars!
