Activism 101: IMMIGRATION RIGHTS

.

MIRA

MIRA is the largest coalition in New England promoting the rights and integration of immigrants and refugees. With offices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, we advance this mission through education and training, leadership development, institutional organizing, strategic communications, policy analysis and advocacy.

THE WELCOME IMMIGRANT NETWORK

Migrant Advocacy seeks to create social change by empowering immigrant communities by validating impact of immigrant experience while providing orientation, advocacy, and support.

STUDENT IMMIGRANT MOVEMENT

SIM

The Student Immigrant Movement is a MA-based statewide immigrant youth-led organization. We fight for the liberation of the undocumented community through the development of a network of immigrant youth organizers in high-density immigrant communities. We organize youth, ages 13-30, and provide political education, leadership training, protection, guidance, mentorship, and safe healing spaces.

THE REFUGEE AND IMMIGRANT ASSISTANT CENTER

The Refugee & Immigrant Assistance Center (RIAC), formerly known as the Somali Women And Children’s Association, was founded in 1993. We are a community-based, non-profit, grassroots human service agency that provides comprehensive services to refugees, asylees, and immigrants as well as the larger community. Our services include refugee resettlement, asylee case management, counseling, outreach and education, and other social services.
