Witches in America

This is an online collection of materials related to the Salem witch trials, accessible online through the University of Virginia library website. It includes a number of archival resources, such as digitized court records, diaries, and sermons from Salem during the period of the witch trials. It also provides information regarding other potential sources, such as various libraries with further information, as well as museums. It should be noted that the court records are not scanned documents, but are transcribed from the originals.

This provides an excellent collection of historical resources for both Europe and the United States--particularly primary sources. Under "Early Modern Europe" can be found court records for each of the prosecuted witches during the Salem Witch Trials. It should be noted that these digitized records are not scans of the originals, but typed transcriptions (with the original spelling and grammar maintained).
