The results you get from Google Scholar are more scholarly in nature meaning you will get less 'background noise' in your results like you do with Google.

Do you need an item that we don't have? Like a book? An article? Maybe even a DVD? Well, we got you! If we don't have the item you need, we will borrow it from another library at NO cost to you. Just fill out an interlibrary loan (ILL) request and we will do the rest.
Sometimes your professor will put your course materials (like textbooks) on course reserve. What this means is that you can borrow your textbook at the Library Help Desk with your student ID for up to three hours at a time.
