Art Reference Sources
Oxford Art Online
Oxford Art Online, formerly known as Grove Art, provides web access to the entire text of The Oxford Companion to Western Art, Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, The Concise Dictionary of Art Terms, and Grove Art Online. Limited to 5 simultaneous users.
The Library has both the online version and earlier print version of the Dictionary of Art, published by Grove and Oxford University Press. It is commonly referred to as either Grove Art or Oxford Art Online (there are additional sources in the online version). The online version does have a limit of five simultaneous users, so you may be denied access when you try to use it. Either try again later, or use the print version located on the 3rd floor of the library. The call number can be found by clicking on the title.
