Multisource Databases

These three databases provide an easy-to-use interface bringing together many different types of sources on a single topic.  With just a couple of clicks you find academic journal articles, reference sources for background information, statistics, opinion pieces, video clips, audio clips, news reports, websites, and magazine articles all on your topic.

CQ Researcher

CQ Researcher is a great source for background information on a topic.  Rather than providing journal articles, CQ Researcher provides in-depth reports on current issues.  Long reports address a specific question such as "Will the world act before catastrophic warming occurs?"  Included in each is an overview of the question, a pro-con section presenting arguments both sides of the question, a timeline, suggestions for further reading, a list of websites concerned with the issue, and references, among others.

Environmental Databases

These databases provide journal, magazine, and newspaper articles focused on environmental topics.

Statistics

Statistics add weight to your argument.  Most statistics in this database are represented by graphs or charts, adding visual interested to a Zine as wll.
