Public Health Nursing Resources

Public Health Nursing students will need to use a variety of informational resources in working on their public health nursing assignments. These include:

Statistical resources - for local, state, national and international population; unemployment; graduation rates and public health statistics;

Databases (CINAHL) - for journal articles;

Web Pages - of government/medical/public health sites for information on topics;

Personal site visits to local public health departments or school nurses - for data not included in journal articles or statistical resources;

Citation Management Software - for help in managing/organizing resources used in class assignments and presenting citations in APA format.
