Write-N-Cite with Macs
October 2008 Customer support suggests Mac users having trouble with this version of Write-N-Cite use a different version of the Write-N-Cite software. Please contact Nancy George (ngeorge@salemstate.edu) for a copy of this Write-N-Cite software.
If you use Office X for Mac (for MS Word), Write-N-Cite for Mac 2.5 may not work.
RefWorks Technical Issues
RefWorks and MS Vista, October 2008:
We've had reports of people using MS Vista having problems exporting citations into RefWorks and utilizing Write-N-Cite.
In response to emails, RefWorks tech support has recommended the following for those individuals encountering difficulties:
* javascript must be enabled in your internet browser to allow the RefWorks toolbar menu to be seen.
* set Write-N-Cite and RefWorks as trusted programs/sites on your computer/browser.
Note: One patron had his problems resolved when he used a computer not running Vista.
