First of all, what is it?
RefWorks is a citation management tool, sometimes also called a bibliographic management tool, that can save you unnecessary headaches and grief as you do research. RefWorks is an invaluable tool for keeping track of citations of articles and books. Most databases and some library catalogs make it very easy to add items to your RefWorks account, usually with an Export button that will give you RefWorks as an option (see below for Worldcat's setup).
What else can you do with RefWorks?
From the library website, find a link to RefWorks under Documenting Your Research.
On the RefWorks page, you can log in or sign up for a new account.
Salem State's Marty G. Walsh Writing Center is located in room 113 of the Frederick E. Berry Library and Learning Commons on North Campus. When you come in through the main doors of the building, make a hard right turn before going through the security gates into the Library, and head for the sign that says Center for Academic Excellence. The Writing Center is to the left of the CAE.
