Assignment

Find three sources (a book, a peer-reviewed journal article, and a government report) on one of the following topics:

  • food insecurity in the U.S. or around the world
  • debate over the U.S. Farm Bill 2013 and SNAP benefits
  • food deserts and urban farming 
  • students in section 10 will have the additional topic: therapeutic gardening/gardening as therapy.

Create a bibliography of works found using Chicago Manual of Style format.

Save matierials found to your computer or send them to yourself for future research.

Write one paragraph about what was most challenging and rewarding about the assignment.
